South Downs
Equally, within a few minutes of leaving Brighton by car, bus or train you will find yourself surrounded by some of England's most beautiful countryside. The South Downs National Park consists of 260 miles of chalk hills stretching from the spectacular white cliffs of the south coast.
The area offers a surprising number of activities, including walking, horse riding, mountain biking and para-gliding.
