Jackie McGuire
Principal

"I’ve worked for many years in this industry, and my role as Principal means I have overall responsibility for all aspects of the school. I try to keep hands on and you will see me regularly around the school, but in particular on your first day during your induction. We use this as an opportunity for you to get to know the key members of staff and meet other students starting on the same day as you. I speak a bit of Spanish and am qualified as an English teacher too."
Carl Roberton
Director of Studies

"I've been an English teacher since 1999 and have worked in Barcelona and Rome as well as in London. I Have been a Director of Studies for 5 years and love my job! I am fanatical about music, cooking and football and really like learning about other cultures and especially their cuisine! My door is always open and I am keen to help you improve your English as quickly as possible so don't hesitate to come and talk to me about your studies."
Maria Gonzalez
Reception
"I’ve worked for about 5 years as both a language teacher and a receptionist in different industries. In this role, I combine both of these passions to provide a friendly welcome to our school. I can help you book your course, answer your questions about our learning programmes and get the most out of your time in London. After 2 years living here I know all there is to know about London's life, so please, feel free to ask! I am also a keen lover of languages, from my native Spanish to fluent English and beginners Italian."
Jack Rose
Accommodation and Welfare Manager

"I have worked in the accommodation and welfare sector since 2000, with experience in a wide variety of industries. Most of my career has been in the tourism and leisure industry with a majority of my time spent travelling the world working on Cruise liners.
I am very happy to be back on ‘dry land’ and working at Stafford House and I look forward to meeting you on your first day at the school. You will find me very approachable and always smiling, so if you have any questions or concerns about your accommodation, please feel free to see me."
Emma Toal
Student Services Co-ordinator

"I have worked within the company for 3 years during the summer running activity programmes. I have lived in and around London my whole life and am excited to be working in Stafford House’s new school. I run the school’s social programme which gives you a great chance to practise your English and make new friends. You will meet me when you first arrive at the school and you can always find me at the reception. I am here to answer with any questions you have regarding the social programme, the school in general or about London. I am always free to talk if you have a problem and will always do my best to make sure you enjoy your visit to London."
