첫 날부터...우리의 일은 여러분들로 하여금 환영을 받고 있다고 느끼게 하는 일입니다.
스태포드 하우스에서 우리의 일은 여러분들로 하여금 여기서 생활하는 것이 가능한 편안하고 순조롭게 하는 것입니다. 처음 여러분이 학교에 오시게 되면 학교의 모든 주요 스탭들을 소개받게 됩니다. 그리고 여러분들의 학급 친구들을 만나게 되며 캔터버리에서 생활하는 동안 여러분들이 알아야 하는 모든 내용들을 알려주는 오리엔테이션 시간을 가지게 됩니다.
오리엔테이션
새로 온 모든 학생들은 첫날 있는 오리엔테이션 세션에 참석하게 됩니다. 이 세션에서는 다음과 같은 내용들이 포함 됩니다 :
- 학교 둘러보기
- 건강 및 안전 관련 사항
- 코스 레벨승급
- 출석관련 정책
- 교류 프로그램
- 비자 관련 질문
- 숙박
- 취업(아르바이트 등)관련 팁
- 은행계좌 개설
여러분은 또한 교장 및 학생들의 모든 학업을 총괄하는 스터디 디렉터를 포함한 학교의 스탭들을 만나게 됩니다.
여러분이 등록할 때 여러분에게 학생핸드북과 그리고 코스 교재를 드립니다.(교재비는 학비에 포함되어 있습니다).
레벨테스트
학교에 도착 전 온라인 테스트를 마치지 않은 학생들은 각자의 레벨에 맞는 클래스와 코스를 결정하기 위한 레벨테스트에 응시하여야 합니다.
일단 여러분들의 영어 레벨을 파악하게 되면 여러분의 영어레벨과 영어선생님 및 교실을 안내하여 드립니다. 여러분들의 첫째 날 수업을 빠뜨리는 일이 없도록 하기 위하여 우리는 가급적 학교 도착 전에 여러분들이 이 레벨테스트를 보도록 권장하고 있습니다.
만약 여러분의 레벨에 대하여 만족하지 못하는 부분이 있다면 학교의 스터디 디렉터인 Nicky를 더욱 더 반갑게 만나실 수 있습니다.
