The advantage of Canterbury...is that it's very easy to get around.

One of the best things about Canterbury is that it is easy to get around.

Walking

The easiest way to travel the city is by walking, as much of the city centre is free of cars. If you ever need directions our receptionist will always be happy to help.

Buses

Buses run throughout the day and early evening, although services to rural areas are less frequent. Free timetables are available from bus stations and visitor information centres.

The Triangle is a bus service that links up Whitstable, Henrne bay and Canterbury offering regular and cheap bus services between these towns.

Train Stations

There are two train stations in Canterbury, Canterbury East and Canterbury West. Both are within walking distance of the city walls. Canterbury East is the station for High Speed trains to London in only 1 hour.
