Accommodation

Where you live is key to your happiness and academic success. Whether you prefer the independence of a student residence or the familiarity of homestay, our accommodation options are chosen to offer you the flexibility of choice and quality you deserve.

Homestay

One of our most popular accommodation options, homestay allows you to integrate into family life and practise your English language outside the classroom, over dinner and throughout the weekend with your welcoming hosts. This is a unique way to live and study at your chosen destination.

BRIGHTON HOMESTAY

Student houses

Similar to a residence but offering more independence, you will live with other students but on a smaller scale than in a residence, allowing you to build lasting friendships with your house mates. Fully furnished and equipped for self-catering.

Our Student Houses in Brighton are located on a quiet road just 12 mins walk from the school and 2 mins from the seaside. The residences are also a two minute walk from several local bus routes.

STUDENT HOUSES - VALLANCE GARDENS

Summer Residence

This option offers you all the benefits of homestay, but with the comfort and convenience of a personal bathroom and a higher standard of accommodation.

Phoenix Hall is situated in an attractive area of Brighton less than a mile from the seafront in the residential area of Hanover. The accommodation is arranged in flats of 6-8 bedrooms, with a shared fully equipped kitchen/lounge in each flat.

SUMMER RESIDENCE - PHOENIX HALL

Premium Residence

Our Britannia Residence is a new state-of-the-art study hotel in Brighton located close to the train station and near the seafront. “Ultra-modern” bedrooms and hubs are furnished with sofas, dining tables, flat screen TVs and fully equipped kitchens.

All en-suite bedrooms have tiled bathrooms, double storage beds, laptop safes and a small refrigerator. There is a private café area for students and their guests. Other facilities include 24-hour security and CCTV.

Teachers here are very experienced and they are very supportive! They listen to everyone and organise lessons in a way that it is useful to all. My vocabulary is growing and that’s very important for my future studies in civil engineering. I am very confident in my progress.

The school is perfectly located and has a great timetable! The teachers here are very good! I’m confident in my progress and hope to get a higher IELTS score than what I actually need for University. I made a lot of multinational friends from all over the world in the school which I haven’t really expected before I came here.

“I love to travel and wanted to improve my English because it’s the world’s language. My time at Stafford House really helped me a lot to talk to people from other countries and understand different accents. The classes at School of English are fun! We play lots of games and I felt immediately welcome.”

Stafford House is a great school! I’m doing very well, my English is progressing very fast. When I came here I didn’t know any English and in a month and half that I’ve been here I’ve progressed to Intermediate level. Teachers here are amazing and lessons are fun – we are playing games and doing exercises but at the same time learning English and grammar! I’ve made a lot of friends here from different nationalities. We hang out a lot to practise our English more. There is a great social programme and I love Brighton! Student house is a great place to live! The bedrooms are big and it’s very clean and I keep socialising even when I’m at home.

  • Vittoria

    Vittoria

    Italy

Brighton is like a paradise for me. Very easy to move around the city and easy to reach London and other places when you want to because of the transport links. I found it very easy to make friends, I’m an outgoing person so I like talking but we go out all the afternoon and in the evening together, or have lunch in a group. You can meet people everywhere and talk with anyone, Brighton is a friendly city.

  • Wei

    Wei

    China

The school is very good and the lessons are very useful and I’m improving my English. After school there are a lot of activities – the social programme is very good. I can make new friends and do a lot of things I didn’t do before. Like yesterday we went to play laser tag! It was very fun. I live in a host family and I’m very happy there – my host farther is very friendly and he cooks very well! Brighton is perfect!
