Born and raised in Scarborough, I graduated from York University with a degree in English and Philosophy (double major). My path to teaching first led me to South Korea, after which I obtained my TESL certification at C.C.L.C.S. in Toronto. I then went to Japan to teach for a number of years, finally returning to TO in 2007. I've since taught at a couple of Toronto schools over the years, prior to Stafford House, as well as having worked online. 
My interests include sports and media, specifically film and rock-pop music.

I am an English citizen who has been granted permanent residency in Canada. I moved to Canada before the coldest winter I ever experienced in 2017. Previously, I lived in Taiwan for ten years where I taught English. I am happy to begin a new chapter in my life in Canada and look forward to getting to know everyone!

I am Venezuelan with Italian roots living in Canada! I like teaching because it is my way to learn; the more I learn, the better I am prepared to guide my students to success. I have been teaching for more than 15 years; I have taught English for Academic Purposes, English as a Second Language and English as a Foreign Language. I hold a bachelor's degree in English Education and a master's in Applied Linguistics.

What I loved about this school from the start was the warm, friendly, and caring atmosphere. Over the past 10 years, I have truly enjoyed meeting and interacting with my students who came from diverse backgrounds, countries, and cultures. I must say that it has been a truly enriching experience as it has given me a greater sense of awareness of the diversity in our world. Finally, I would like to add that students have returned to study at our school time and time again because I am sure they found their experience here just as enriching.

I've been teaching English to international students since 1999. I have BA in English Language & Literature. I also studied French as a second language at university. After obtaining my TESL certificate in Toronto, I started teaching, which is what I've really enjoyed since then.. Helping students to improve their English skills has taught me a lot. Every classroom door opens to a new journey which makes me discover a variety of cultures and respect them all as well.

I was born and raised in Toronto. Aside from my CELTA certification, I have a bachelor's degree in Sociology. Before teaching at Stafford House, I taught at two Toronto-area English schools and at a university in Colombia. I can speak Italian and Spanish. For me, teaching English has always been an exciting opportunity to meet and help students from all over the world understand English.

I am a TESL Ontario certified teacher holding a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature, and I am very excited to be a part of the Stafford House International teaching team. I have been involved in ESL teaching in Toronto for the last ten years. I love teaching and working with international students so as to gain further insight through multiple experiences. Furthermore, the way students grow and improve their performance every day, or when they start communicating at a higher level just makes me feel I have struck the right chords and that is very satisfying.

I graduated from York University in 1977 with an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre, with a Minor in English. I have been teaching ESL for the last ten years in Toronto and Halifax, Nova Scotia. As I indicated, I have done a number of different jobs, but I have never enjoyed anything as much as I enjoy being in a classroom with second language learners. My philosophical statement: I have to love my students enough to get out of their way and let them learn. I am delighted to be associated with this fine school and the wonderful students and colleagues with whom I work.

I have BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Montenegro. I have been an English teacher since 1995 teaching English at the intermediate and advanced levels at a high school in Podgorica-Montenegro. I also prepared and conducted English workshops in Child Right Center of Montenegro sponsored by Save the Children, UK. I have been with Omnicom, now Stafford House, since December of 2013. I’m very happy to be working with a great team of people here at Stafford House.

Teaching English became my passion a long time ago. It started with tutoring some of my classmates and that was a steppingstone to a long-term career. I started my job as an ESL teacher right after graduating with a BA in English translation. Working with different learners of all ages for over 14 years has helped me gain students’ trust, and create a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere in which they could enhance their interactive and communicative skills. This motivated me to get my Masters in Historical Linguistics. I hope to help our Stafford House students realize their dreams!

I have my Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature and have been teaching ESL for three years. I have taught a variety of classes including Grammar, English for Academic Purposes, and Speaking and Listening (Focus on Communication) classes. I'm a native English speaker and I love teaching. I learn so much from my students and I enjoy creating dynamic and engaging lesson plans. I want students to learn and have fun at the same time! I hope to help students improve their communication skills and have a wonderful experience at Stafford House in Toronto.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, I obtained a higher degree in English/Arabic translation in Egypt. My passion has always been teaching English. I taught EFL to adults and school students in Alexandria. When I came to Canada, I further pursued my career by obtaining my TESL certificate and working at Toronto's Omnicom School of Languages for 3 years before joining the Stafford House team. Teaching ESL to international students is such an exciting experience. My mission is to make a difference in my students' lives.

My teaching career began back in the early 90's when I decided I needed some adventure in my life and I relocated to Seoul, Korea to teach ESL. I have been teaching ever since and what I like most about it is that I am still learning new things about the English language and I am able to share this with my students. I enjoy teaching my students and I enjoy learning from my students. A good class is when there is a healthy exchange of ideas and information. ESL classes are perfect for this kind of exchange. I have been an ESL teacher for about 7 years and before that I was a photographer and a corporate and radio media producer.
