Kings College Chapel is one of the most instantly recognisable buildings in Cambridge and is a beautiful example of Gothic English architecture. It is still in use as a place of worship and is where the famous Kings College Choir rehearses and performs, and it is used in many college events and concerts.

The main court of Trinity College, Trinity Great Court is thought to be one of the biggest enclosed courts in Europe with a beautiful ornate fountain at its centre. It’s also the famous grounds for the Great Court Run, where students and visitors alike attempt to run around the court in the time it takes for the college clock to strike twelve!

 

Round Church Cambridge

Round Church

Older than the University, the Round Church was built in the 12th century and is one of Cambridge’s most iconic landmark buildings. The church was inspired by the church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem and the architecture is just as beautiful and unique on the inside as it is on the outside.
